Intermediate: Netting!

This might be a bit confusing because what I mean by netting is this

If that’s not what you had in mind, I am sorry but this is still a good skill to have under your belt. This netting is very versatile and can be used to make a lot of cool clothes like cardigans and shirts.

Pattern:

Row 1: Chain 17

Row 2: SC into the 2nd stitch away from you , and DC into each stitch after

Row 3: Chain 6, DC into the 3rd stitch away from you, do this 4 more times

Row 4: Chain 6, DC into the open space , Chain 3 and DC into the empty space till you reach the end

You repeat Row until you get the length you want and that’s netting, really fun and has tons of potential for other projects!

If you want a clean finish go ahead and add a row of SC in each stitch, and three SC into the gaps, and another row of SC into each of those stitches and don’t forget that extra chain before!
